MALCOLM BUTLER
President & CEO
Malcolm Butler is the President and CEO of The Fiduciary Group and has worked at the firm since 1980, providing expertise in trusts, estates and wealth management to hundreds of clients across the Southeast. In addition to nearly 40 years of investment management experience, Malcolm specializes in administering trusts and estates and is a Wall Street Journal Experts contributor. He is a member of the Savannah Bar Association as well as the Rotary Club of Savannah and previously served on the Schwab Institutional Advisory Board.
A longtime community leader who is originally from Savannah, Georgia, Malcolm currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Telfair Museums in Savannah and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Savannah, Coastal Georgia YMCA and Isle of Hope Historical Association. Over the years, he served as the president of The Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Georgia, president of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Georgia, chairman of the Cotillion Club and secretary of the Board of Trustees for The Savannah Country Day School.
Malcolm earned a J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Duke University.
